How I built two stunning landing pages this week

My Claude Code beginner tutorial to ship pages RIDICULOUSLY fast

Hola señors y señoritas (im listening to bad bunny right now),

I have so many ideas and not enough time to build them all. It's a good problem to have - and it'd be a whole lot worse without AI.

this newsletter is juicy as asf!!

📌 TL;DR

  • ChatGPT gets ads → OpenAI is testing ads for free and Go-tier users. No ads manager yet, but when it drops, first movers will get attention at an incredible price.

  • Remotion + Claude Code → Describe a video in plain English, Claude writes the code and renders it. No React or video editing skills needed.

  • Vibe coded landing pages → I built the new aiwithremy.com with Claude Code and recorded a beginner tutorial walking you through the entire process.

  • Claude Cowork for Mac cleanup → Ran out of storage, so I got Claude to scan, categorize, and clean up my Mac. Prompt included below.

ChatGPT is getting ads.

OpenAI announced they're testing ads for free-tier and $8/month "Go" users in the US. Sponsored content will appear at the bottom of responses when relevant.

Do you remember the early days of Meta and Google ads? You could spend almost anything and ROAS was always there. Attention was wildly underpriced, competition was low, and the people who moved first made a killing.

I think that's what's about to happen here.

If you say to ChatGPT “who am I?”, it is SCARY how much it knows about you. And OpenAI is about to let advertisers like me put products in front of you based on that context.

This is the targeting of meta ads, but with the buying intent of google ads 🤯

There's no ads manager yet. you can't set anything up right now. But keep this on the front of your mind. When it opens up in the next few weeks, first movers are going to get attention at an incredible price.

I'll share more as it rolls out.

Remotion + Claude Code = vibe content?

THIS IS F*CKING SICK. Remotion (the React-based video framework) just shipped official Agent Skill that plugs directly into Claude Code.

The pitch: describe the video you want in plain English, and Claude writes the code and renders it.

You don't need to know React or video editing to create professional marketing videos, product demos, or animations. Describe what you want. Iterate in conversation. Export.

If you're making content for social, ads, or product launches, this is worth exploring.

Check out examples from Sandra, Talley, Charlie, and Andrew.

Also this week…

ChatGPT Health launched. You can now connect your medical records and wellness apps to ChatGPT to help understand lab results, prep for appointments, and navigate insurance.

Claude for Healthcare dropped five days later, but it's more enterprise-focused. Built for providers and insurers to automate admin tasks like prior authorisation reviews.

And ChatGPT Go expanded globally. The $8/month tier for people who need more than free but don't need the full Plus package. It's already OpenAI's fastest-growing subscription tier.

💡 Builder’s notes

Vibe coded the new AI with Remy landing page over the last few days. Tell me this isn't clean: aiwithremy.com (looks best on desktop).

I recorded the entire process and turned it into a Claude Code beginner tutorial. This video walks you through never having used code before, to setting it up, to vibe coding stunning websites, to hosting them live with your own custom domain.

If you've been hearing about Claude Code and been meaning to look into it but it all seems a bit overwhelming... start here.

I also vibe coded this little personal landing page / link in bio tool: remygaskell.com

Oh, and I ran out of storage on my Mac this week. So I asked Claude Cowork to clean it up for me. It did an awesome job.

Here's the prompt I used:

Help me free up storage on my Mac. Work step-by-step and check with me before deleting anything.

Step 1: Scan for large files Search for files over 100MB that are older than 30 days. Exclude system files, Photos library, and active project folders. Present findings sorted by size with file path, size, and last modified date.

Step 2: Identify duplicates Flag any duplicate files for easy review.

Step 3: Categorize for review Group files into logical categories based on what you find (e.g., old project files, downloads, raw footage, exports, installers, etc.)

Step 4: Quick wins Scan for obvious junk:

- Old .dmg/.pkg installer files

- App update caches

- Old files in Downloads folder

- Screen recording project folders (Screen Studio, Screen Charm, OBS, etc.)

- Node modules, build artifacts, or dev caches I'm not actively using

Step 5: Cleanup (with my approval) For each category, show me the total storage I'd recover. Only delete files after I confirm each batch.

Step 6: Summary Provide a final report showing total storage recovered and files deleted by category.

🧰 Tools to try

  • Sergeant's Ref → This X account posts Midjourney style references. If you didn't know, --sref lets you show Midjourney a picture and say "make my image look like this style." This account is a goldmine for inspiration.

  • Marketing Skills for Claude → A repo of pre-built marketing skills for Claude.
